an afterword: it occurred to me that the guys in this photo seem to exhibit something unusual for a photo–something uncanny–something from the outer limits? or something.
well, after some pondering, i came across the realization that they are almost in fact perfect or perhaps beyond perfect prototypes of the third-dimension at work. yet not! something about the shadows in the photo makes them look like they are inside your computer popping their heads out of the screen. no?
